My name is Alex Masica. Welcome to my website. This is mainly a space for me to express my design aesthetic while also writing about digital marketing, digital and mobile products, the process of writing a novel, and reflecting on life. Read my latest posts in the blog section. I’m also an avid reader and keep a semi-updated list of books I’ve read over the past few years.
I am currently the digital marketing manager for a government organization, where I live and breathe all things Internet: digital content, brand strategy and positioning, digital infrastructure, web design, paid media campaigns, product launches, data analysis, and agency and vendor relationships. I am also Inbound Certified by HubSpot. You can learn more about my skills and experience on LinkedIn.
As I hope my site illustrates, I believe in minimalism. It’s easy to get caught in all the noise today. Minimalism requires me to strip out all the non-essentials, which is where I find beauty and harmony.
I have an innate sense to help people solve problems and live better lives, and I spend a lot of my personal and professional lives doing that. When I’m not building user experiences and digital products, I volunteer much of my time with various organizations.
I currently serve on the marketing and product development committees for the Minneapolis Interactive Marketing Association. I also volunteer year round (including a jam-packed week every June) with Badger Boys State, and previously served on the board of directors for its Alumni Association. In the past, I’ve volunteered with numerous Easter Seals camps and all over the country with The Ability Experience.
I work well on teams that are nimble and efficient, value honesty and embrace vulnerability, are passionate about helping solve people’s problems, and that learn fast, fail fast, and move on fast.
What problem can I help you solve? I’d love to connect.
